Are you ready to laugh so hard it hurts? One of the largest comedy festivals in the world, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) returns this month with a world-class program of 650+ shows across 185 stages in 133 venues, phew!
Running from March 27 until April 21, you can expect a mammoth line-up of jokesters featuring performers established and emerging, local and international. Festival highlights include the 34th Annual Great Debate, the the Deadly Funny National Grand Final (which unearths the freshest and funniest First Nations talent), the RAW Comedy National Grand Final and Comedy Zone, where you'll find the next generation of side-splitters.
Tickets can be purchased through the festival's website, and, depending on the show, through venues and ticketing providers such as Arts Centre Melbourne, Ticketmaster, Ticketek, Trybooking, Eventfinda, and Eventbrite. You can check individual show listings for details on where to book.
