Sure, hotels are nice, but they can be a bit overrated. An even better way to experience Dallas is by honoring your youth and staying in a treehouse rental. Providing peace, tranquility, and reconnecting you with nature, a treehouse Airbnb is the perfect secluded stay. It can even provide you with all that while remaining in the city. Or you can get it in some seriously secluded green acres just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Downtown.

No matter what your preference is, there's a treehouse to suit you. Whether for families, groups of friends, or a couples retreat, Airbnb has a whole range of treehouses that all give you the childhood nostalgia you're after. There are even some that are surprisingly luxurious. We’ve scoured Airbnb to find some of the roomiest, most conveniently located (how do ten minutes from Six Flags sound?), and quirkiest (we’re talking tree ships here). So, forget the bog-standard B&B and instead book one of the best treehouses in and around Dallas.

Updated in April 2024: We regularly keep an eye out for wonderful new properties that slip under the radar, and this time we think we may have outdone ourselves with the newest addition to our list this upscale treehouse near downtown that looks more like a museum.
