Coastal luxury and convenience combine at this top-notch hotel in Cairns’ city

Snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, swimming at Mossman Gorge, white water rafting on the Barron Rivers and hiking in the Daintree Rainforest – you’ve got access to all the best of Cairns on your doorstep when you stay at Park Regis City Quays.

You’ll have no problem making yourself right at home at this well-equipped hotel, located just off Cairns’ harbour foreshore and within easy walking distance to the central marina, buzzing night markets and popular eateries.

Travelling in Cairns is the ultimate choose-your-own-adventure, and that starts with your room at Park Regis City Quays. Of course, you can unwind in one of the modern hotel rooms that the Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts brand is known for, but we’d highly recommend going all in with a one- or two-bedroom self-contained apartment.

Calming neutrals blend with shades of the Coral Sea, creating a calming retreat for both pleasure and play. The superior rooms were recently revamped and spruced up with new pillow-top beds and bedding, sleek modern desks and new technologies, such as iPod docks and high-definition LCD TVs. And when the humidity spikes, the individually controlled air-conditioning, ceiling fans and breezy balconies (found in most apartments) will keep you cool and comfortable.

While the executive one-bedroom stays are best for a quick weekend getaway, the two-bedroom dual-keyed apartments are a match for large groups and longer stays. You can cook up a storm in the fully stocked kitchen, or fire up the rooftop barbecue for a lazy arvo sausage sizzle. The two-bedroom apartments also offer a spacious living room and laundry facilities, ideal for longer visits. Other hotel perks include undercover parking and a rooftop swimming pool boasting beautiful views stretching from Cairns’ city to the harbour.

Time Out stayed as a guest of Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts.
