  • The way I understand it, you either categorize it under the type of cuisine or rank them under specific criterion such as ambiance etc and you don' mix them? (Family friendly vs view? Really?) And I was checking this list searching for the best Sichuan restaurant and it's not even available here. How disappointing.

  • A lot of choice... Can't pick :( I'm looking for the best restaurant to celebrate New Years eve (western 31st) Any recommendations ?

  • How about Spanish tapas? Given the large popularity of Spanish tapas around Hong Kong right now, why wouldn't you have a category highlighting these type of restaurants around town?

  • I would suggest to add Italian as a category.

  • I would suggest that some obvious missing categories are: Cantonese, Szechuan, or even just plain Chinese. After all Hong Kong is China.

  • Totally agree with Chris. Crazy not to have Chinese categories on here.

  • Re Chinese comments: What do you think Cha chaan tengs, Cha siu bao, Dai pai dongs, Dim sum, Peking Duck and Hot Pot are (not to mention Seafood) - Welsh?
