Charlie Brown Café
Kids and adults alike will love this Charlie Brown-themed café dressed up with images from the popular Peanuts comic strip. The menu offers Chinese-interpreted western. Good grief! G/F & 1/F, Kok Pah Mansion, 58-60 Cameron Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, 2366 6315. $400.

Dan Ryan’s Chicago Grill
This all-American diner might be known for its steaks and ribs, but there’s something here for little people too. There is a special children’s menu featuring the ‘World’s Smallest Sundae’ as well as balloon and keyring giveaways to keep your kids entertained. Shop 114, Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty, 2845 4600. $750.

Hemingway’s By the Bay
Sit back in this Caribbean-inspired restaurant in Discovery Bay. The kid’s menu offers classic American fare, all at under $60. Crayons are also on hand for children who want to let out their creative side. Shop G09, G/F, Blk A, DB Plaza, Discovery Bay, 2987 8855. $350.

Pizza Express
With several locations around town, Pizza Express is already a favourite spot for make-your-own pizza parties. If you don’t have a party to host or attend, have no fear: your kids can still enjoy pizzas and pastas off the friendly ‘Fun menu’ for under $80. Soho Square, 21 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, 2850 7898. $400.

T.G.I. Fridays
Well known for its red and white candy cane stripes, T.G.I.’s offers all the usual American burger and grill fare. The children’s menu has a set price of $68 and kids can pick from an assortment of dishes. They will also receive a bounty of balloons and key rings. 4/F, Oterprise Square, 26 Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, 2368 2800. $450.

Top Deck
Located on top of the historic Jumbo Restaurant, Top Deck offers an array of Asian and Western cuisine. Sunday brunch is a must for families as a play corner is set up for kids so that parents can sit back and relax. Top Floor, Jumbo Kingdom, Shum Wan Pier Drive, Wong Chuk Hang, Aberdeen, 2552 3331. $700.
