Though originally known for its ‘wall of fire’ hot sauce collection, this Forrest Gump-themed restaurant has toned that aspect down in trade for birthday parties, balloons and crayons. And, when the school year broke last summer, they gave free meals if kids brought in a report card full of As. Post meal, families can head to the adjacent general store for Gump memorabilia and cuddly toys in the shape of... um... shrimp. Family meal: around $600. 3/F, Peak Tower, The Peak, 2849 2867.
Almost famous
Top Deck supply a kid’s playpen and kid-friendly menu. If only they had baby-sitting services... Top Floor, Jumbo Kingdom Shum Wan Pier Drive, Wong Chuk Hang, Aberdeen, 2552 3331. Also a shout-out must go to Pizza Express for letting the little ones create their own pizzas. Citywide.
