Reviews of Hong Kong restaurants & bars
Like some fiendishly hip lost temple, Tantra is decked out with candles, comfy wall-couches with big cushions, and lots of Hindu-inspired art. The subdued lighting and Buddha Bar-esque tunes add to the chilled and inviting vibe, best enjoyed when the bar is about half-full.
The drink
There’s a small selection of specialty cocktails as well as quite a few of the usual suspects, all at $75 a pop. In keeping with the restorative theme we opted for Tantra Healing, a concoction of rum, Martini Rosso, lime juice, orange juice and fresh mint. Refreshing and tasty, it was a great first drink – but have a few and all those big cushions begin to look a little too tempting.

Trendy twenty- to thirty-something professionals looking for a quiet place to have a drink and a chat.
The entertainment
There’s not a great deal of extra room here, so good friends and good conversation are your best bet for staying entertained.
