Signed to uber-hip French label Kitsune, this oh-so-young Northern Irish trio burst onto the scene with their ultra-catchy, drum-machined indie pop. They’ll be playing with fellow ‘next big thing’ outfit Delphic at HITEC on Tuesday 10. This track was the first single from TDCC’s debut album Tourist History.

Since 1993, this outfit from Saumur, France, have been concocting a distinctive mix of salsa, classic French cabaret, brassy swing, rock and ska. On their way back from Japan’s Fuji Rock, the Gallic eight-piece stop in at The Cavern on Saturday 7. This is the lead track from their most recent release, 2009’s Grand Soir.

From Detroit via LA and now based in Hong Kong, Detroit Diamond has worked with the likes of Crazy Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony among others. The inside story is that he’s arrived on our shores all because of love and this rhyme will be close to the hearts of many in the clubs around town. You’ll find him MCing at Kee Club on an irregular basis.

Hong Kong’s prolific electronica veterans released a free mp3 EP last month called Choose Your Own Narcotics, and we’ve included the suitably haunting Damascus Blues in this set.
