The Pancakes Even Together

As The Pancakes, Dejay has been playing synthy twee-pop for ten years, releasing seven albums and being featured in numerous TV commercials. To mark the occasion, she plays Hang Out on January 9 and 10. This track is from her 2002 album All Already Ready.

Their Wild Lazy Tour gigs are over, but not knowing when they’ll next be performing, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to put the legendary Canto-metal-hip-hop pioneers on the podcast. This new track was released to coincide with their comeback tour.

Metal Postcard outfit The Emergency remix legends of punk funk dub The Slits. The Slits were the original riot girl group 20 years before the term even existed. 2009 saw the release of only their second studio album Trapped Animal.
