After a few years around the traps, VIM have had a bit going on recently. This locally-based electronic act consisting of girl/ boy duo HONHIM and K recently won best performing group and best new song at Tom Lee Digital Music Awards, played Clockenflap, and we hear have been working on their debut album. Ghost is a sublime piece of electronica – hopefully this is the future of new music in Hong Kong.

Block 45 is a mysterious Australian artist based in Tokyo who works from a similar palette to Beck. He’s named himself after the young artist enclave Block 45, an area in Nakano, Tokyo also called “Yonjugobangai”. We love his breezy electro-rock-pop sound and you may well see him on a Metal Postcard release soon.
