Song Fei, an acclaimed erhu artist and virtuoso in traditional Chinese music, takes the audience back to the Northern Song Dynasty, a period in ancient China when commerce was booming and the country was first united. Utilising the entire spectrum of the huqin family, Song will channel the sounds and scene of the riverside in Bianjing during the historic Qingming Festival, with her traditional sounds and unprecedented range.
