China’s 1911 Revolution: Francis Stafford’s Photo Exhibition
In 1909, Francis Eugene Stafford moved from America to Shanghai to work as a photographer. Stafford captured many historical moments in China including the WuChang Uprising in 1911. His images of revolution, the burning of Hankou, even Dr Sun Yat-sen’s departure from Shanghai to Nanjing to assume provisional presidency. Until Nov 19.
