Bauhinia Beach Sunday Sunset Parties
Now that temperatures are sane, you can seriously flaunt it at Middle Bay’s Sunday parties, a hit with the LGBT crowd. Or just hang out with drinks and chilled tunes to ease you into evening. Sundays, 4pm onwards, Bauhinia Beach Club, Middle Bay Beach, South Bay Beach Rd, 2812 6055.

Nightclub balconies
Few things are more awesome than looking down on our city at night. Group that view with dance music and a vodka cocktail or three, and you’ve got our favourite post-summer activity. Floatilla 2009
Drag queens, and DJs, and junks… oh my. Vaunted as the most popular queer event of the year, this boys, booze ’n’ boats fest is the gay answer to Mega Junk. Oct 31, 11am-6pm, register boat at www.floatillahk.com.

South Bay Sessions
House music mixed with basic restaurant fare and beers, loungers, umbrellas and an open-air bar that overlooks the beach – not a bad way to spend your Saturday or Sunday afternoons. DJ Dee Montero, formerly of Ibiza’s Café Mambo, is the resident on Saturdays, DJ Steve Bruce holds court on Sundays. 3pm-8pm, South Bay Beach Road, 2812 6015.

Kinky Malinki
A marquee house music party featuring the UK’s Grant Richards goes poolside at The Venetian from 3pm till late with support from a Hong Kong crew, including Miles Slater, Re:Flex, and Tai Pan Dan.
