For an alternative night out
Start at Phonograph in TST. Then grab a spirit from the first floor of Senses99 and be part of a jam session on the second floor. Finish the night at XXX Gallery with the best alternative music in Hong Kong.

For drinking
Find a nice, low rooftop like the Fringe Club in Central, which is surrounded by skyscrapers, and enjoy the night view until sunrise.

For a mid-week dip
Get the bus to the south of the island and find a hidden rock-pool behind the hills in Stanley and enjoy the sunset. Depending on who you are with, you can swim naked and enjoy nature as it is.

For camping
Dress up as an Apache Indian, get the ferry to Mui Wo and go to Palm Beach. There you can rent a teepee for the weekend. It’s a quiet place with a different ambience.

For a touristic day
Visit Kowloon Walled City Park and learn a bit about the history of this largely ungoverned settlement. You’ll be impressed by how this Mainland ‘small city’ was built. Nowadays it’s a big park with a museum where you see how it was before…
