Named after a fictional cologne from side-splitting movie Anchorman – with the tagline ‘60 percent of the time, it works every time’ – DJ duo Sex Panther radiate wanton, sexually unabashed personas. After joining forces only a year ago, they’ve performed on some of the wildest stages in California and Las Vegas, contagiously energising club crowds with their electro-house sets... and sprays of exploding champagne. Yup, champagne. In short, Ryan Fontana and Aaron Cool have been having a blast.

The duo’s music is precisely what you’d expect from a name like Sex Panther: dirty, energetic and full of tension, release and, well, sex. Fontana and Cool joined forces following a chance encounter at a guitar centre where at the time the two were mere electronic music fanatics – and they eventually agreed to form a tech-house group. Clearly it was a good move.

The rookie partnership is now looking to expand on its initial success by touring internationally for the first time and we think Hong Kong – Play to be precise – is the perfect venue for these wild party animals. Expect uninhibited energy from two guys as pretty young things dance up a storm under a shower of champagne. Meeow!
