My Essential Selections DJ Anil Ahuja
For a more relaxed drink with a couple of friends or an intimate group, I like the rooftop of Wooloomooloo in Wan Chai.
Definitely Causeway Bay. If you can handle the large crowds, it really is the best place to go – you can literally find anything within a couple of blocks. And the bubble tea around here is always fantastic!
It has to be Fly. They are innovative and keep it fresh by having different nights with completely different feels to them. And you are guaranteed to have some amazing DJs on the decks every night!
I am a huge fan of Cheung Sha beach on Lantau – still quite clean but never too crowded. Whenever I manage to wake up early enough on a sunny day, I try to make my way over there.
For spontaneous nights out
Marlins in LKF. This cosy little shots bar is always blasting good music and there’s a great crowd outside having dance-offs – it’s insane!
Catch Anil spinning weekly at Likuid (Tue and Thu), Fly (Wed and Fri) and Play (Sat)
