Sea, sex and sun. Now that’s a party! And you could be enjoying all of that at the Splash pool party series hosted by the Hard Rock Hotel Macao. Well, we can’t actually guarantee that you’re going to get any of them – but you should, at least, have an awesome time. If last year’s inaugural party series is anything to go by, Splash will probably be like the spring break you’ve never had.

The series, which kicks off on May 19 with two other parties later in the summer, always gets filled up with beautiful girls in bikinis and chiselled stallions, as well as plenty of drunk, half-naked dudes gawking at the hotties. Oh, and of course there’s the world class DJs and musicians thrown into the bargain. It’s a party recipe for success.

This year’s first Splash features DJs Darren Emerson – former member of infamous electronic group Underworld – house music pioneer Dave Seaman and the comeback of local DJ and promoter Ricky Stone. Expect plenty of pool-friendly house, dance and electronic tunes. And if 13 hours of partying by the pool leaves you hankering for more, then dry yourself off and lead your posse over to nearby Club Cubic where hip-hop artist Ray J performs for the masses. Seeing as you won’t find anything like this in Hong Kong, the ferry trip over to our sister SAR is well worth the ride.

Details for the next two Splash pool parties are yet to be confirmed but, judging from our past experiences, expect nothing short of world-class acts and parties which go on until the break of dawn. And then some.
