Club Full House is still attracting the crowds following its lavish opening in November, which was attended by the likes of Tony Leung Ka-fai and Annie Man, establishing the venue as a celebrity hang-out. The music policy is eclectic, with hip-hop, techno, house and even rock on the menu. The newest night to launch at the club is the aptly named New Sound for Town which will feature guest DJ Dibby Dougherty.

Hailing from Northern Ireland, the hip-hop/techno-influenced artist has established himself as a prominent figure on the bustling dance scene in his homeland. In addition to holding a residency at the illustrious Yello, and with regular guest slots at Lush, he has played alongside everyone from Groove Armada, Dirty Vegas and Crazy P to Nick Warren, Sébastien Léger and Josh Gabriel. According to his MySpace page, his personal style of production is “energetic and underground but firmly focused on dancefloor-friendly cuts.” Dougherty says he is ready to embrace “elements of soul and funk-infused varieties of disco” in his set.

Decked out in deep purples and gold and furnished with extravagant palace-style fixtures and fittings (get a load of those chandeliers!) Full House is splendidly OTT indoors while the outdoor balcony is a spacious 1,000 sq ft. Plenty of space to get dancing then. Teracy Wang
