Amber: Richard Ekkebus serves a serious eight-course feast on Christmas Eve ($2,588) including langoustine tartare and Bresse capon. Also a five-course lunch and a six-course dinner on Christmas Day, $988 and $1,888 respectively.
Ava: An extravagant 10-courser priced at $688, including a glass of bubbly on both Christmas Eve and Christmas.
Gaddi’s: Book a table for the Christmas Eve gala dinner ($2,888) which includes a serenade from the Chinese University Alumni Choir. If you can’t get in for Christmas Eve, the Christmas Day lunch ($1,688) promises to be just as fun. Dancing both days.
Tiffin: Tiffin feels extra Christmassy, due to the jovial atmosphere and the live jazz performances. The Christmas Eve dinner buffet starts at $900 per adult and $450 per child, and on Christmas day, guests can enjoy their lunch and dinner buffets (starting at $810 per adult and $405 per child) complete with an appearance from Santa.
Kudos: The Crowne Plaza hosts an extravagant buffet on December 24-25 & 31. Prices start at $468 per adult and $288 per child, inclusive of free-flow drinks (champagne, house wines, soft drinks, and juice), party favours, and after dinner gift boxes for every guest. Santa will also make his rounds.
Chez Patrick: A charming French holiday menu ($1,280) runs from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day. A more casual version is available at Chez Patrick Deli ($680), which includes foie gras terrine and Christmas log cake with caramel and chocolate nibs.
JAR: This casual eatery rolls out a comfort food Christmas Eve menu in five courses ($688) including beef wellington with morel sauce and roast turkey and gammon ham with all the trimmings.
The Backyard: Enjoy the holidays outdoors at this backyard lounge, which hosts a barbeque all through December featuring prime steaks and fresh seafood ($638-708 per adult and 418-468 per child.)
FINDS: Celebrate in Nordic fashion with this seven-course dinner ($788) available from December 24-27 and featuring such seasonal specialties as turnip soup with nutmeg. Accompanied with a glass of Glogg.
Habitu Ristorante & Harakan-S: These two restaurants join forces for a special east-meets-west barbecue buffet on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve ($688). Reserve a seat at Habitu’s alfresco garden terrace and ring in the festivities under the stars.
Indochine: Enjoy a Southeast Asian spin on the traditional Christmas bird with the baked turkey and lettuce salad with lime vinaigrette. Next up, go for the steamed ravioli with crabmeat, followed by baked lobster. This Christmas dinner menu is priced at $298 per person with a minimum of two orders per party.
