Getting there
•Stanley is well-connected by buses. The Main Beach is only a five-to-ten minute walk from the bus stops.
•For those living on the island, catch the Green Minibus 40 on Tang Lung Street in Causeway Bay. CityBus 260, 6, 6A and 6X depart from Central.
•For you Island East residents, NWFB 14 starts service at Sai Wan Ho and Green Minibus 16M at Chai Wan.
•If you’re across the harbour, Citybus 973 leaves from Tsim Sha Tsui East.

Other attractions and distractions
•In addition to the main event, Stanley Main Beach will be a frenzy of carnivals, colours and costumes that will keep you entertained for most of the day.
•Paddlers in fancy dress costumes will parade down the beach to compete for the most outstanding outfit. Hilarity ensues!
•Carnivals with game booths and cartoon character mascots mean endless fun for toddlers, children and adults who are still young-at-heart.
