This site offers comprehensive coverage of most outdoor activities (although some of it may be a little dated). They do have a Google map for finding their write-ups, which is helpful if you know where you want to end up, but not what's available in the area.

A government website that doesn’t reuse that same template as all the others? Remarkable. Once you get past the flash animation, it has a great selection of information on most of the trails maintained by the Country & Marine Parks Authority. Also provides information (and downloadable pdf maps!) of Hong Kong’s longer trails.

Roz’s hiking pages are a great resource for most of our hiking trails, and offer accurate trail times with good directions for getting there (and back home). They also organise regular hikes, just sign up and get out there!
