84 years old, novelist extraordinaire and co-founder of Ming Pao

Louis Cha, one of the co-founders of Ming Pao Daily, is also one of most prolific and renowned literature figures in Hong Kong. Under the pseudonym Jin Yong, Cha has been one of the most influential authors in modern Chinese literature, inspiring art, films and lots of followers for his epic martial arts novels along the way. Cha has received dozens of awards and titles for his literary achievements. Currently, Jin Yong is uncontested as the best-selling living Chinese author.
