Wing Shya: When photographer and model collide

Posted:

"My shoot is a commentary about the relationship of a photographer to a model. She is merely a cipher, whose presence is important insofar as she functions as a blank canvas, on which I project my imaginings, desires and objectives. I've made my role explicit by appearing in the images. I hope this shoot will illuminate the division of labour, or even power-sharing, between a photographer and the subject." – Wing Shya
