Celebrity fashion campaigns may dominate our city's billboards, but we asked four fashion-forward Hongkongers to tell us their idea of style.

        Simon Ong, investment banker

Clara: “There’s no such thing as too much or too little when it comes to dressing up in Hong Kong. I can sport my college sweats then superman into a ball gown in the same evening.”
Simon: "I like a cross between Bond and Mugatu… Fitted blazers, crisp shirts, and piano-key neckties.

 5. Michael Young, industrial designer

“It’s difficult to wear anything fashionable in Hong Kong; you end up sweating through it. I buy most of my clothing in Japan.”

6. Debra Mao, segment producer for Bloomberg Television

“Working in a newsroom means I'm always in a hurry. I prefer tasteful pieces that let me move.”

7. Helle, sales director and pole diva

“When doing pole dancing for exercise, it is all about being able to move, so you would want to wear less. Professionally, my style is classic with a modern twist such as leopard and tiger prints.”
