Happy Valley
The Hong Kong Jockey Club is celebrating with authentic German beer, cuisine and traditional festive games from Munich as it organises its upcoming “Oktoberfest”. With three races taking place at the Happy Valley racecourse on 8, 15 and 19 October, guests can enjoy over 20 authentic German beers; wood sawing, beer swilling, and hammer hitting games for cash and beer coupons and an array of German-inspired snacks to soak it all up including knuckles, pretzels and Germany’s famous sausage. Of course this is all alongside the horse racing Happy Valley is famous for.
A specially created German buffet will also be available daily between 8-19 October at Stable Bend Terrace.
Three races at Happy Valley racecourse, Wednesday 8 and 15 and Sunday 19.
Time: Oct 8 and 15, 1st race at 7:15pm; last race at 10:50pm respectively (8 races)
Gates will be opened at 5:15pm. Beer Garden will be close at 11:30pm.
Oct 19, 1st race at 1pm; last race at 6:00pm (8 races)
Gates will open at 11am. Beer Garden will be closed at 6:30pm.
